About DPI-On-The-Fly    

Alysis created DPI-On-The-Fly™ for NEC Technologies to access the video mode switching capabilities of the Macintosh hardware.

The software is a control panel which allows users to switch between video modes on-the-fly.  Once users select their MultiSync™ monitor, the software limits the available display modes.  Users can switch between modes via the control panel interface or via a pop-up menu which displays the accessible display modes and the current mode.

Alysis has updated DPI-On-The-Fly numerous times as Apple introduced new hardware.  The Software supports Quadra 700, Quadra 800, Quadra 950, Quadra 840av, Quadra 605, Performa, LCIII Macintoshes in addition to the 8*24 video board for Macintosh IIs.  Alysis also created the installers for the DPI-On-The-Fly™ software, the Intelligent Power Manager™ and Colorific™ video software.
